Introduction/ Post # 1

What do you think of when you see a guitar? What do you think of when you hear the instrument? When I first saw a guitar I cared noting about it, didn't give it the time of my day. That changed when I went over to a friends and picked it up. It almost felt natural to hold and I have been playing everyday since. My passion for the instrument grew and it continues to do so to this day . That is part of the reason why I am sitting here trying to type this thing out(also because I'm constantly talking about them). If you want to learn about a guitar for any reason, whether it be to be informed or because you wish to purchase a specific guitar you've come to the right place...might not be the best place but its a start. Catch my next post in a couple of days where I will be discussing wood types and the bodies of guitars. Until then, have a good one!

  1. I love the guitar and wish I could play myself. What kind of music are you into? I recently dove into the early years of Black Sabbath, and I think it's pretty dope that they influenced Metallica. My favorite Sabbath song would have to be the 10 minute long symphony Warning.

  2. The guitar is great isn't it? You should attempt to learn to play if you really wish to do so, it just takes an hour or more from your day if you're willing to spend the time. I usually play anything from classic rock to metal. Also, it's great that you're starting to listen to Sabbath, they're a very respectable group of people that play great music which also happens to influence most of the metal music there is now a days. That's a great song by the way, I don't have a favorite but i enjoy playing their music.

  3. I like the idea and it sounds interesting. I used to play guitar when I was younger up until high school. The first thing that I think of when I hear the word guitar is classic rock. I never really enjoyed playing classic rock, but I love listening to it. I love listening to all kinds of music, but rock has to one of my favorite genres.

  4. Glad to hear that you think this is an interesting idea Spenser. It is pretty cool to know that you also played guitar. Personally, I think rock is great too! It's fun to both play and listen to.
